The long predicted electric power rate hikes are spreading.
Manufacturers are debating with Georgia Power, who are raising $14 billion to cover new capital expenditures.

Georgia has been growing so quickly in past decades that most of the revenue generated by the utility had to go to new developments. But now as the infrastructure is aging in more established neighborhoods, plus need for new and cleaner generation, significant new investment is required.
I anticipate this trend will continue across the nation for some time to come.
